Elizabeth is a design leader at Automattic, focused on improving the core WooCommerce experience. She brings 10 years of human-centered design, innovation, and product strategy to transform complex B2B and enterprise software into simple, human products.

Elizabeth found her love of design after graduating with a degree in Politics from NYU. She then went on to complete her MFA in Communications Design at Pratt Institute. She’s lived and worked in Madrid, London, and New York City, envisioning the future of products and services for companies such as IBM Watson, Ericsson, Experian, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Harvest.

Her passions have always been in the arts, creativity, and cultural discovery, where she’s been a product design and research consultant for many startups. She founded her own startup, Tomorrow & Today, to solve a problem in the art world. When Elizabeth isn’t planning her next trip or trying to save democracy, she feels most at home when eating a migas taco, paddle boarding on Town Lake, or making abstract art in her new hometown of Austin, TX.
