I’m having struggles with the light in my apartment for these assignments. When I’m mixing colors or taking photography everything seems to have a more yellow/brown tone. Either I need to get better lighting or I need to do my homework somewhere else! These are my complementary mixing studies – painted and split complementary sets in color aid. The third and fourth images are the color mixing chart in yellow with notes on proportions of paint used. I was surprised that there was some magenta in the darker shade of yellow Color-aid, but it was trial and error to get it to match properly.
