A few textures with color schemes I’m interested in

For my texture/pattern studies I’m using three color schemes: Warm analagous (Y-YO-O), Split complementary (Y-RV-BV), and neutrals. I’m not sure what the difference is between neutrals that are created from the complementary color vs. neutrals created from adding grey, or if there even is a difference. hmm.

Here is what I have so far for my pattern

I decided to use triangles because they represent the color yellow and sunlight. There are hexagons in the pattern and the unit becomes a hexagon when all of the shapes are placed together, but I like what’s happening when there is some space between the shapes near the bottom.
